STEP study on prayer. Done through Harvard in 2006 with $2.4 million in funding. Study seems to show that intercessory prayer (praying for someone else) is placebo. There is no good scientific evidence yet that prayer is anything other than placebo. In short, it's the belief that makes you feel better.

Milgram Debriefing. Make sure to watch this and look for the Cognitive Dissonance...when he tells himself a comforting lie about what he was going to do (hint).

A whole placebo store: magic rocks, astrology, things that heal...just not anything you can measure like broken legs, caner, AIDS, gun shot wounds...and lots of other "energy" things: charms, crystals, etc... all because of the power of belief and confirmation bias, the placebo effect, cognitive dissonance, and more! Sadly, this video is now private. If you can get a copy for me: EXTRA CREDIT!
